A reminder … Village ordinance 9.36(7)  prohibits deploying fireworks without a permit within the village limits.  Any fireworks that explode or shoot into the air are generally prohibited without a permit. Fireworks regulations will be strictly enforced.

Persons walking dogs are reminded to clean up after your dog. Dispose of dog feces in a proper container.

A person who sells a motor vehicle to another person, including transferring a junk vehicle by bill of sale, is now required to notify the Department of Transportation that a sale has occurred. Within 30 days of a sale the seller needs to report to WisDOT the: Vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle, Identity of the individual buyer, Sale price and Date of sale. This can be done online at www.wisconsindot.gov

State law now requires that vehicle headlights and tail lamps be illuminated during hours of darkness or during a period of limited visibility which includes during periods of rain, fog or snow. Automatic headlamps may not work during daylight hours and your headlights may need to be turned on manually.

Use extra caution when driving in the park. The speed limit in Dale R. Michels Park is 10 mph.

If you have a camera security system, please let the police department know.  It could provide useful information for law enforcement cases.  Email: Marshal@brownsvillewi.com or call: 920-583-4087
