Dale R. Michels Memorial Park

The Village of Brownsville in 1998 rededicated its park in honor of local businessman and benefactor Dale R. Michels. Dale R. Michels, founder of Michels Pipeline Construction Inc., spent his whole life in Brownsville, becoming a community leader and giving generously to the community for many years.

The park is a first-class recreational facility, boasting a main baseball field with lighting, two smaller baseball fields, six soccer fields, and entertainment pavilion, and large swing, play area as well as two concession stands and bathroom facilities. The park hosts the Rock River, American Legion, Babe Ruth, B-Ball, T-Ball, Girls Softball and Lomira High School baseball Leagues. Soccer Leagues include Bomber Soccer Club, flyway Soccer Association, and Lomira High School Soccer. The park is a wonderful facility that the entire community can enjoy and be proud of.
